Instant Pot French Toast Recipe
You may have made a cinnamon roll french toast casserole or french toast bake, but those can take a long time to make. With the instant pot craze going on, we thought we would try to shorten the preparation time needed for traditional french toast bakes! We love our instant pot and use it for dinners all the time. We have even used it for dessert with our Instant Pot Monkey Bread. The ease and quickness of it are perfect for our busy lifestyle.
I honestly had no idea that you could even make french toast in the instant pot! But it is really easy! Feel free to add in some fun additions like pecans, walnuts or chocolate chips! They are all great.
This will make the perfect dish for your Christmas Morning Brunch! Looking for some other great Christmas Morning Recipes? We have tons!!
The Best Instant Pot French Toast recipe (vegan & Gluten Free!)
Description
This is the green smoothie I make almost every day — it's how I sneak veggies into my picky eater without any fuss. It's creamy, a little sweet, and honestly doesn't taste "healthy" at all (in the best way). Takes 5 minutes, and my kids ask for seconds!
Ingredients
Instructions
Steam
-
Wash everything First
Give your kale, spinach, carrots, and apple a good rinse. Always the first step before we start cooking!
-
Steam the Carrots, Kale & Spinach
Add 2 tablespoons of water and pop them in the microwave for 1–2 minutes. Steaming (instead of boiling)
You can skip this part but keeps more of the nutrients in, makes them easier for our bodies to absorb, and is gentler on little tummies too. It's a small step that makes a big difference! -
Cool with a Quick Rinse
Once they're done steaming, rinse them briefly under cold water.
This stops the cooking process fast, so you keep more of those good nutrients intact. -
Prep the Apple & Avocado
Cut the apple into chunks and add the avocado. No need to overthink it — just roughly chopped is fine!
-
Blend It All Together with Any milk
Any milk works here! I usually use regular milk since that's what we have at home, but oat milk, almond milk, soy milk — whatever you like or have on hand is totally fine. The taste and texture will change just a little depending on what you use, but it'll still turn out great.
Want it sweeter? Banana, a little honey, or even maple syrup all work great. ⚠️ Just skip honey if your little one is under 12 months.
